    Specialty clinic seeks to hire a Medical Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year current physician office or clinic experience.  Qualified Medical Receptionist will show proof of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.  Ideal Medical Receptionist will be detail orientation and accuracy are essential; and possess effective verbal communication skills.  Ideal Medical Receptionist will have knowledge of organization policies and procedures, systems and objectives. Knowledge of computer systems, scheduling templates and applications. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.     DUTIES OF THE MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST (PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR) INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • As a team, receive and register patients including greeting, confirming demographic and insurance information, requesting waivers when needed and processing patient paperwork within standards acceptable to Clinic.
    • As a team, schedule patient appointments including specialty testing. Communicate with patient, insurer or referral entity to attain new and/or updated patient demographic and insurance information. Maintain standards acceptable to Clinic.
    • As a team, collect and process patient co-pays and/or payments, recording individual transactions. Run daily credit card batch.
    • As a team, answer and process telephone calls using professional and effective communication skills. Process voice-mail messages throughout the day, forwarding and/or triaging calls to respective departments, physicians and/or voice mail as needed.
    • As a team, maintain and process data entry of patient information, within medical software system, ensuring all address / demographic changes, insurance changes and new patient information is entered & completed on a daily basis.    
    • As a team, fax prescriptions back to the pharmacy throughout the day as needed.
    • Print fee tickets for appointments.
    • Process next day charts for appointments, reviewing in EMR for patient profile, acknowledgement and consent, and for the paper chart preload, and prepping paper charts as needed.
    • Back-up other Patient Coordinator and Medical Records as needed & perform other misc. responsibilities as required and as needed to work cooperatively between and within departments of Clinic.

    DUTIES OF THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Facilitate patient care activities scheduling ancillary tests, providing patient education, processing voice-mail every couple hours and triaging patient phone calls and messages as appropriate and as directed by physician.
    • Maintain patient exam rooms, change bed paper, remove soiled linen, remove bio-hazard and generally keep room in clean, sanitary, condition.
    • Monitor electronic prescriptions, process and log patient prescription orders for assigned physicians and administer patient medications as directed by physician.
    • Manage and communicate diagnostic testing results with patients when appropriate and as directed by physician.
    • Maintain adequate medical and pharmaceutical inventory supply stocking patient rooms as needed.
    • Maintain medical equipment in good condition, including cleaning and preventative maintenance.
    • Process prior authorizations and maintain and complete check off lists for patients pre-testing that is necessary for biologic medications.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned and/or assist physicians.

    DUTIES OF THE BILLER/CODER (CPC) INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Code office visits and surgeries.
    • Identify and follow-up on payment inconsistencies; i.e. low pay, no pay, etc.

    4. Fulfills organizational responsibilities as assigned including respecting/promoting patient rights; responding appropriately to emergency codes sharing problems relating to patients and/or staff with immediate

    • Maintains exam accordingly, which includes cleaning, stocking, autoclaving, and spor testing.
    • Schedules all specialty exams from consultations, diagnostic testing (MRI’s, CT’s, etc), ESI’s /facet injections, as well as obtaining pre-auth’s for the above mentioned including PT for some insurance companies. 
    • Reviews Rx’s with physician, phones the pharmacy, and documents all prescriptions requests in the computer. Notifies patient if there is a problem.  Instructs patients on how to take sample medications. Acts as liaison to pharmacies when there are questions.
    • Obtains pre-certification for medications that require it according to certain insurance plans.
    • Maintains physicians calendar and prepares weekly schedule as needed.
    • Types work releases, equipment, diagnostic letter for PCP’s, Rx’s, lab orders etc… from Logician at Dr.’s request (faxes any of these upon request.
    • Makes sure that paperwork/orders are with patients and we have a copy of the order for those returning to a nursing care facility.
    • Arrange for home health services as needed.
    • Calls for transportation for patients.
    • Schedules patients for follow-ups, post diagnostic testing, post-operatively as needed. Submits schedule change forms to reflect changes. Reschedules clinic days if less than 24 hours prior to the appt’s.
    • Acts as a liaison to the hospital and various departments.
    • Meets with pharmaceutical or other representatives.
    • Attend back office meetings/staff.
    • Help facilitate getting incomplete dictation (ie: x-ray interpretations, impressions, plans etc)
    • Plan for emergency type patients in both the office and surgical arena.
    • Answers questions from patients waiting in X-ray .As a member of the Clinic team, you may be asked to assist whenever or wherever there is a need. Covers ill or vacationing employees or assist them prn. (This includes potentially running a clinic, all voicemails, etc for 2 physicians).

    Specialty office seeks to hire an Audiologist part-time with a minimum of 2+ years experience. Qualified Audiologist will possess a Master’s degree in Audiology, current state and national certification. Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or eligibility 1 year post MS or AUD. 


    This excellent opportunity for an audiologist will be 3 days weekly in a well-established specialty office located in Lake Oswego, OR.
